While shift is targeted towards individuals who have had a cancer diagnosis, is open to caregivers, healthcare professionals, and others who are seeking to improve their well-being through lifestyle habits and behavior change.
You can start the shift program at any time point that you would like. Because the modules are self-paced and you can implement as much or as little, you can adjust to where you are in your cancer experience no matter if you are newly diagnosed, living with metastatic cancer, or have completed your cancer treatment years ago.
Each weekly module will take under 30 minutes to complete. Each week includes supportive content and optional ideas of new strategies to try if you would like to commit additional time.
The program offers a 12-week roadmap with personalized nutrition guidance, exercise recommendations, and emotional well-being targeting a healthy body composition and weight.
Shift provides guidance and tools to help you create a nutrition plan that fits you using evidence-based recommendations for cancer survivorship. You will be able to add specific foods or food groups that fit your preferences, taste, and budget.
Yes, the program addresses common side effects of cancer treatment and offers resources for caregivers. Strategies to combat fatigue, improve appetite, and manage stress are integrated into the program.
You don’t need your doctor’s permission, but we encourage you to discuss participating in this program to create a conversation around a healthy lifestyle.
Shift is not covered by insurance however your Health Savings Account (HSA) may cover the costs.
